Rio Ferdinand issued a brilliant response to Jurgen Klopp after the Liverpool manager joked that 'nobody was interested' in two of his former Manchester United teammates.
Following on from Liverpool's 2-0 Europa League win over Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday, Klopp was asked for his thoughts on midfielder Alexis Mac Allister facing off against his brother, Kevin. The Argentinian pair were spotted chatting before kick-off and came together with their father on the pitch after full-time.
"It's the first time that two brothers played against each other in world football, or [that's] what it felt like," Klopp said. "It's a really nice story."

One reporter during the press conference pointed out a number of brothers have played together and against each other, naming Neville brothers Gary and Phil. “Nobody was interested in that, obviously!” Klopp joked.
Ferdinand responded brilliantly to the video on social media, replying: "Only 14 Premier League titles between the Neville households [eyes emoji, laughing face emoji]".
Gary and Phil Neville were part of the most successful United team in history, with both present for six Premier League titles and the 1999 treble-winning season. They then went on to face each other when the latter joined Everton.
Gary won a further two Premier League titles and a second Champions League title in 2008, among several other major honours. Ferdinand spent two seasons playing alongside Phil before he joined the Toffees in 2005, with Gary staying at United until his retirement in 2011.
