Princess Eugenie appeared "wary" at the Royal Family's Easter gathering and hinted at "divisions" in the family, according to a body language expert. Eugenie, 32, was one of the many Royals present at Windsor Castle on Sunday for the annual Easter service at St George's Chapel, and arrived alongside her husband Jack Brooksbank, 36. As the family made their way to the chapel, groups formed behind King Charles, 74, and Queen Consort Camilla, 75, with older Royals, such as Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, following behind the monarch first.
Eugenie and Jack, who are expecting their second child together, walked behind the group, and were then followed by the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children. Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Mike and Zara Tindall and their two daughters, as well as Peter Phillips followed behind, with a huge gap between them and Eugenie and Jack. Body language expert Judi James believes Eugenie may have hinted at "natural divisions" in the family as she appeared "wary about mingling" with other family members.
She told the Express: "In the middle, and very separate, were Eugenie and Jack. Eugenie's mouth was clamped and pulled down at the corners and she wore an unhappy-looking frown. "She is so often the one organising and steering her own family group at formal events like this, but here she looked wary about mingling at all." Judi also pointed out that the Duchess of Edinburgh appeared to want "to connect" with her niece and husband at one point, but Eugenie appeared to "turn to look behind her".
