Met Office forecast exact date 'unseasonable' weather will hit UK

Heavy rain in Greater Manchester is set to make way to more settled conditions over the weekend.
According to the Met Office, showers are forecast in our region today (Thursday) and tomorrow. Today will feel chilly, with the temperature only reaching around 15C this afternoon.
Heavy showers are forecast this afternoon, with more rain forecast to fall overnight. More heavy rain is expected in Greater Manchester tomorrow morning, though it will feel slightly warmer with the mercury reaching highs of 19C.

Saturday is set to feel warmer, with the temperature reaching 21C in the afternoon. Forecasters predict it will be mostly cloudy and dry.
The picture on Sunday looks set to be similar, according to the Met Office, with cloudy conditions forecast. There may be some sunnier spells on Sunday afternoon as temperatures of 21C are forecast.
The Met Office said 'unseasonably warm air' is moving across the UK from the south. In the latest Met Office 10 Day Trend video, Presenter and Meteorologist Alex Burkill said: "The jet steam is going to push its way northwards ahead of the weekend, which will allow for some very warm air to come in from the south.
"As we go into the weekend frontal systems will remain trailing across Scotland as this warm air moves into the south. For many further south it will be a fine, dry day on Saturday with temperatures getting to highs of around 25C, which is unusually warm for the time of year.
