A man has been injured after being hit by a tram in Manchester city centre.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a tram on Aytoun Street at around 9.20pm on Friday (January 19).
Paramedics rushed to the scene and the pedestrian, a man, was treated for minor injuries. Metrolink services were disrupted but returned to normal 20 minutes later, TfGM told the Manchester Evening News.

A spokesman for the transport service said they are now working with Metrolink operator KeolisAmey to investigate.
A TfGM spokesperson said: “We are working with Metrolink operator KeolisAmey to investigate the circumstances of a collision between a male pedestrian and a tram at Aytoun Street in Manchester city centre at around 9.20pm on Friday (Jan 19).
“An ambulance attended and the pedestrian is understood to have sustained only minor injuries. Services returned to normal from around 9.40pm. There is no continuing impact to Metrolink services.”
