A teenage boy has been charged after police officers found a machete and drugs following a 'fight' in Gorton.
Officers were called to the scene on Mount Road at around 7.30pm on Saturday evening (April 16). They recovered a machete and suspected cannabis.
A 17-year-old boy - who cannot be named for legal reasons - has now been charged. He faces charges for possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis.

The boy was bailed and will appear at Manchester Youth Court today (Tuesday), police said. A post on the GMP Manchester East Facebook page said: "#CHARGE | A teenager has been charged in connection with the recovery of a machete in Gorton.
"The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis. He has been bailed and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Youth Court on today (Tuesday 19 April 2022).
"At around 7.30pm on Saturday 16 April 2022, we received a report of a fight on Mount Road, Gorton. Officers subsequently recovered a machete and suspected cannabis. Enquiries are ongoing."
