Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf has met the King in London, Buckingham Palace confirmed.

King Charles’ Coronation has been marked by the release of two more official portraits. The first image shows the King with the two next in line to the throne – son Prince William and grandson Prince George. The second is of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla with their Pages of Honour and Ladies in Attendance on the historic Coronation day.

King Charles’ first official portraits following the Coronation showed his appreciation of sister Princess Anne, a Royal expert said. The new set of photographs, released on Monday, gave an insight into the new monarch’s idea of a slimmed-down monarchy - with one image of the Royal Family together showing him flanked by the Princess Royal on one side and his wife Queen Consort Camilla on the other. Taken in Buckingham Palace's Throne Room, the picture is a portrait of The Firm as it now stands in 2023 - with Prince Harry notable by his absence.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out for date night to cheer on the Los Angeles Lakers Monday night amid King Charles III’s coronation plans. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were all smiles during the Lakers versus Memphis Grizzlies playoff game at Crypto.com Arena.  While Markle, 41, donned a two-piece pink blazer and matching shorts ensemble, Prince Harry, 38, sported a dark-colored jacket with a casual white t-shirt underneath, black jeans and white sneakers. In several of the sports snaps, Markle appeared to be whispering and giggling in Prince Harry’s ear.

Camilla had been referred to as Queen Consort since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, but is named as Queen Camilla alongside King Charles III on the invites due to be sent to more than 2,000 guests.The move marks the incredible journey of Camilla over more than five decades, from romantic involvement, to mistress and finally wife of the King – and will end with her formally being crowned Queen alongside the new King.

President Joe Biden is not expected to attend the coronation of King Charles III, according to a source familiar with the planning.The planning of King Charles' highly anticipated coronation is in full swing as the date creeps closer. Although the official guest list hasn't been revealed, it's known that US President Joe Biden is one of the few lucky people who were sent an invite to the event. However, it's now been reported by a source that the president, who paid tribute to the late Queen last year, might not attend the coronation himself, but might instead send his first lady, Dr Jill Biden, or his Vice President, Kamala Harris, instead.

Yossman Mercury Studios, the production company behind recent Abbey Road Studios doc “If These Walls Could Sing,” have unveiled their new feature, about composer Felix Mendelssohn’s genius sister Fanny. Although Felix, who is best known for writing “The Wedding March,” is still world-renowned 175 years after his death, his sister Fanny was also a prolific musician, composing 450 works – including her own wedding music – before she died in her early 40s. “Fanny: The Other Mendelssohn” tells her story. Sheila Hayman (“Mendelssohn, The Nazis and Me”) directs the doc, which also stars classical artist Isata Kanneh-Mason bringing Mendelssohn’s works to life. Filming has taken place in Berlin, New York, London, Oxford and Buckingham Palace, where Kanneh-Mason played Queen Victoria’s piano.
