Manchester City supporters have been left puzzled after Pep Guardiola decided against handing Riyad Mahrez a start in their Premier League clash with Everton.

An international teammate of Kevin De Bruyne has been tipped to join Manchester City.
Charles De Ketelaere has been in fine form for his current side Club Brugge in the top tier of Belgium football.
The 20-year-old has scored 15 goals and claimed nine assists during his 36 appearances for the Belgian side.
Despite his young age, De Ketelaere has already been capped four times by the national team and his stock is currently rising.
Former Club Brugge boss Trond Sollied believes that a move to the Etihad would be the ideal move for the youngster.
"De Ketelaere is fantastic," Sollied explained to De Standaard.
"The big clubs should see that, right? Otherwise you are blind.
"He can go anywhere. I don’t think City need him right now. They already have so many, but they do play a system that would suit him like a glove.
"Kevin De Bruyne must have been surprised when he saw him train for the national team.
"De Ketelaere looks like a smart boy to me. His father is a doctor, so he must have learned something."
With De Bruyne having reached his 30s, it might not be long before City start to think about potential replacements.
But while the former Chelsea man is at the peak of his powers it could be some time before De Ketelaere is needed.
