Kate Middleton steps up to host world leaders with King Charles and Camilla

Kate Middleton joined the Royal Family to host Commonwealth leaders at a reception at Buckingham Palace on Saturday 17 September afternoon. The Princess of Wales, 40, was part of the members of the Royal Family greeting the dignitaries alongside Prince William, 40, King Charles, 73, and Camilla, 75. Kate, 40, looked elegant as she wore a black dress and long three-strand pearl necklace and matching bracelet, while meeting the leaders of the nations that have the United Kingdom’s monarchy as their head of state.
Princess Anne, 72, and the Earl of Wessex, 58, also attended this afternoon's lunch for the governors-general of the Commonwealth nations at Buckingham Palace. Elsewhere Prince William was pictured speaking with Governor of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dame Susan Dougan. It’s been a busy day so far for Prince William who joined the King to greet mourners queuing to pay their respects to the Queen this morning.The pair seemed to boost the spirits of queuers as several also shouted “God Save the King” and “God Save the Prince of Wales” as each passed by. Prince William told one member of the public: "Sorry you got so cold last night".
