Emmerdale fans have been left demanding answers as they pointed out a problem with Chloe Harris' exit. The character decided to flee the village after being left brokenhearted by former flame Mackenzie Boyd.
There has been a love triangle between Chloe, Mack and his wife Charity Dingle ever since Charity discovered her husband Mack had fathered Chloe's son, Reuban, during a one-night stand. After Charity decided to kick Mack to the curb, he struck up a romance with Chloe in order to be with his son.
Playing happy families, however, came to a screeching halt last month when a car crash saw Mack having to choose between Chloe, who discovered Mack had slept with Charity again, and Charity as he was unable to save both before their car plunged off the edge of a cliff.

Viewers of the ITV soap soon saw him battling with his conscience after pulling Charity from the car, leaving Chloe to tumble to her potential death. She has since survived the ordeal but in a bid to ease his guilt, despite confessing his love for Charity, he decided to stay with Chloe and was planning a cosy Christmas.
But Chloe's world once again came crashing down as Mack told her they were over before getting back with Charity. After a confrontation between the two women in the street, Chloe decided she needed to leave and plotted her escape to France with her son.
