Former Coronation Street star Chris Gascoyne, who played Peter Barlow, has shared his feelings about leaving the popular ITV soap. The 55 year old actor hasn't completely closed the door on a return to the show, but for now, his character Peter has left the cobbled streets of Weatherfield for a fresh start.
Chris opened up about his departure from Corrie after more than twenty years, admitting there was "one thing that upset" him during the filming of his final scenes. Coronation Street viewers were heartbroken on Boxing Day when Peter bid farewell to the street after 23 years.
