ITV Coronation Street drops out of top 10 most watched Christmas Day TV shows for first time in decades

Coronation Street's Simon Gregson has been selling his old furniture to help him pay off a tax bill, it has been reported.The 49 year old actor, who has played the role of Steve McDonald on the ITV soap since 1989, allegedly owes HMRC £100,000. In addition to the large tax bill, reports also say that Simon owes money to Coutts Bank for a COVID bounce-back loan. Due to this further debt, it's thought that the soap star owes a substantial amount of money, equating to £165,000 in total.
