Sir Jim Ratcliffe has finally managed to complete his minority acquisition of Manchester United, subject to the deal gaining approval.
The INEOS founder had been the frontrunner to invest in the Reds since October when his rival Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani withdrew from the process. However, after initially wanting to purchase a 60 per cent stake in United, Ratcliffe had to change his approach when it became clear the Glazers wanted to stay.
Therefore, a 25 per cent acquisition was agreed but what does this mean in practice and how much has it cost the INEOS man? MEN Sport has taken a look at the details.

It is understood Ratcliffe has spent approximately £1.25billion to buy a seat in the United boardroom. For his money, he has received 25 per cent of Class A shares and 25 per cent of Class B shares.
The Class B shares are of the most value as they were originally all owned by the Glazers. These have voting rights which are ten times the worth of Class A shares which are owned by those who have purchased them from the New York Stock Exchange.
Ratcliffe has paid both the Glazers and Class A shareholders $33 (£26) per share. On top of this, the INEOS founder has confirmed an additional $300m (£236.7m) will be pumped into the club to fund the future of Old Trafford.
Supporters will be aware that the stadium needs redeveloping and this money seems to be set aside for just that. The transaction of $300m will be split into two payments.
An initial $200m (£157.8m) of this money will be pumped into the club on the confirmation of Ratcliffe's appointment. The further $100m (£78.9m) for Old Trafford is to arrive by the end of
