There’s plenty of free summer holiday activities to get stuck in with at Aviva Studios, the home of Factory International. From dance and craft workshops, to gigs and DJs, all activities are free throughout the summer holidays, until August 31, 2023.
The Riverside outdoor space is back and open throughout the day, ready for grabbing a coffee or sipping on a margarita. Inside in The Social, the space will come to life with creative workshops, local bands, DJs and performers.

Yayoi Kusama: You, Me and the Balloons continues its highly popular run in Aviva Studios this summer. Pop down for a series of creative, family workshops and watch your child explore Kusama’s joyful world. All workshops are free and suitable for children and families of all ages.
Tickets start from £7.50, and the workshops are running until August 28, 2023. These include:

Can’t make a workshop or can’t get enough? Aviva Studio’s has lots of free self-led activities for you to get creative with. Have a coffee and get stuck into free learning and play activities inspired by Yayoi Kusama: You, Me and the Balloons.
Pick up a free printout and try out a range of learning activities designed by Manchester artists Princess Arinola Adegbite and Venessa Scott.
There’s also Kusama-inspired colouring in sheets, fashion dolls and sensory toys, as well as pumpkins, mushrooms and tentacles to drop your own dots onto.
