With Dancing on Ice now officially underway for the 16th series, our favourite celebrities have been getting to grips with the ice for a few last minute practice runs before Sunday’s all important live show. Among those stars this year are Miles Nazaire, Eddie Edwards and Ricky Hatton, who will all be hoping to impress the judging panel with their fancy footwork and flawless skating on the ice. However, ahead of that all important ice debut, nerves have been running high among the contestants, with Eddie in particular feeling more than a little anxious about Sunday’s live show.
Speaking exclusively to OK! the former Olympic ski-jumper admitted: “I’m bricking it!” Thankfully, things weren’t quite so daunting for boxer Ricky Hatton, who revealed he would be competing in the second week of the show, rather than being among the first stars to take to the ice. With a cheeky grin, the sportsman admitted: “ Well, Luckily, I'm in the second week, so I've got an extra week to kind of prepare myself and I get to see the first week and see how everybody's kind of how the show runs, how the camera runs, how everybody else performs. “I've got that little extra time just to kind of suss it out and I'm enjoying that little break there.” A similar situation also held true for Miles himself, who also admitted he was taking part next week, but that hadn’t lessened the anxiety he felt in the meantime.
He added: “I'm also in week two, but I almost want it to be straight away. So it's like done. So you go in first and you're like, okay, cool.
We've done that. Let's go. Increase the anxiety, really.
