Dancing On Ice bid farewell to its first competitor during the show's second instalment on Saturday night (January 21). Boxer Ricky Hatton and comedian Lou Sanders found themselves in the dreaded skate-off after failing to impress voting viewers at home.
Ricky found out last week that he'd be fighting for his place in the competition after being awarded the lowest score. Meanwhile Lou found herself in the same position this week, earning just 19.5 points from judges Jane Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo.
Lou skated against radio DJ Adele Roberts, ski jumper Eddie ‘the Eagle' Edwards, comedian Lou Sanders, Made in Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire and EastEnders star Ricky Norwood, with Adele and Eddie coming joint first with 27.5 points.

Both Lou and Ricky took to the ice once again on Saturday night, desperately hoping to wow judges and keep their place in the competition. But it just wasn't meant to be for Ricky, with all four judges opting to send Lou skating into next week.
Asked about his exit from the ITV series after just one performance, Ricky confessed he was 'gutted' but praised his skating partner Robin Johnstone for her hard work. He was pleased with how far he had come along on the show in just a week, after adding new features to his routine which the judges applauded.
Sharing their thoughts of X, formerly Twitter, some fans were disappointed that Ricky didn't make it through. @KatyParkes praised: "Aw Ricky his improvement was huge so should be proud #DancingOnIce as @flookssake said: "I would've liked to see how an absolute novice like Ricky progressed. #dancingonice".
