Dancing On Ice to be hit by shake-up on Sunday's show, ITV confirms

Dancing On Ice viewers can expect a change to the show's format this weekend, with a shake-up on the cards. ITV confirmed this Sunday's show will be slightly different than usual, with competitors only having one chance to perform for judges Jane Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo.
The ITV skating show returned earlier this month with Holly Willoughby back at the helm alongside her new co-host Stephen Mulhern. It's now been announced that the third week will not feature a skate off, unlike the usual format, reports the Mirror.
A combination of the judges' score and the public vote will instead decide who goes home this Sunday. The lowest performing couple will leave, rather than the bottom two pairs having a skate off before a final vote by the judges.

A spokesperson told the Daily Mail : "This weekend we don't have a skate off at the end of the show. Whoever is at the bottom after the judges' scores and viewers votes will leave the competition." ITV confirmed to the Mirror that this is the case ahead of the upcoming third episode on Sunday.
It's not the first time that there's been no skate-off, as the combination of judges' scores and public votes determined who left the competition in the third week last year too. Typically, a skate off has been held in that week.
Last week, former boxer Ricky Hatton and his skating partner Robin Johnstone became the first pair to be eliminated. They had been in the skate off against comedian Lou Sanders and her partner Brendyn Hatfield, who were saved by the judges.
Ricky and Robin had originally performed a routine to Bill Conti's Gonna Fly Now in the first week. Lou and Brendyn took to
