Dancing on Ice's Ryan Thomas emotional as son and actress daughter support him while fans issue 'undermarked' complaint

Ryan Thomas appeared to be fighting back tears as he was cheered on by his young son and actress daughter in the audience of Dancing on Ice. The actor smashed his first skate in the competition earlier this month and was hoping for a repeat performance on Sunday night (January 28).
It was Movie Week down at the rink this weekend and Ryan kicked off week three of the ITV show's 2024 series with an elegant routine to Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.
The former Coronation Street star dressed as Wonka in a purple velvet coat for the performance which featured dramatic high lifts with his skating partner Amani Fancy.

After the couple scored 25 points, judge Christopher Dean said his performance was “more polished” than last week but explained he had to make some deductions for a few stumbles.
Oti Mabuse added that this routine was slower than his previous one which made it “more exposing” but assured him he can come back from the performance stronger.
Following his routine, Ryan was left emotional as he spoke to Holly and Stephen, he said: "I'm just glad it's over because its been such a build up, I haven't seen my family all week and I saw Roman in the audience there and nearly went. Just to get out there and do it, there was a few bits wrong with it but the pressure gets to you in this show. It's really, really difficult..."
