Lucy Mecklenburgh was left fighting tears after seeing her fiance Ryan Thomas fall twice during his latest performance on Dancing on Ice. The actor returned to the ice for the latest instalment of the ITV skating competition on Sunday night (February 11) which happened to be Musicals Week.
But the judges were not thrilled by Ryan and professional Amani Fancy’s performance, giving them 25 points for their routine to Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ The Boat from Guys & Dolls. Ryan, 38, took a tumble before doing his solo skate.
The former Coronation Street star then also lost his balance during a step sequence, which saw him fall onto his back. Ryan was awarded 5.5 from guest judge Johnny Weir, who is standing in for Ashley Banjo, with the other judges scoring him 6.5.

As he spoke to hosts Holly Willougby and Stephen Mulhern, Ryan was able to laugh but admitted to being "embarrassed". He confirmed: "I have not hurt myself," before adding: "I just hope my kids aren't watching this... it's very embarrassing for me!" But American figure skater Johnny then told Ryan to "never be embarrassed", before saying he had to give him a low score.
Ryan did, however, survive the public vote and didn't fall victim to the double elimination like Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi, who was immediately axed from the competition after getting the lowest votes, and comedian Lou Sanders who faced the skate-off against Ricky Norwood.
Meanwhile, watching at home, Ryan's fiancee Lucy appeared beside herself as she watched the scenes unfold at home. After sharing an adorable video fo the couple's children
