Dancing On Ice's Vanessa Bauer: 'Miles and I are getting on really well'

Professional skater Vanessa Bauer has already topped the leaderboard with Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire on this year's Dancing On Ice and it seems their chemistry has something to do with their gliding success. The hit ITV skating show returned to our screens last month for more dazzling and glitzy performances from a host of celebrities including the likes of Ryan Thomas, Amber Davies and Adele Roberts. Miles, 28, who shot to fame after joining the cast of Made In Chelsea in 2018, has already proven he's so much more than an SW3 socialite as he takes on demanding skate routines with pro partner Vanessa, 27.
So much so, that the pair topped the leaderboard during their emotional second performance and have continued to vow the judges ever since in the hope of lifting the coveted trophy. Speaking to Closer, Vanessa revealed how training was going and the bond they share on the ice. She said: "Miles and I are getting on really well on the ice." "He's an amazing skating partner.
We're still having so much fun and are laughing every day on the ice, so it's just great. Miles is my student, my skate partner, and he respects me on the ice. I can feel the respect he has for me and for the sport." Vanessa, who was paired with Joey Essex last series, is no stranger to success having won the competition in 2018 with Jake Quickenden and reached the show's final a whopping five times.
She went on to explain that despite her streak of success on the show, she and Miles don't see the other contestants as a threat to securing their place in the final.
