Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh looked to be having fun as she took part in activities during a visit to Katherine Low Settlement in London on Tuesday, 16 January. The Duchess, 58, headed to the charity, located in Battersea, to mark its milestone 100th anniversary.
The Katherine Low Settlement, also known as KLS, was opened by the late Queen Mother in 1924. The charity aims to reduce poverty and bring the communities of Battersea and Wandsworth together.
KLS supports older people, children, young people and their families from refugee backgrounds and newly-arrived adults learning English. Sophie visited the organisation on Tuesday to learn more about its work and thank the staff and volunteers for their hard work. The visit marked Sophie's first Royal engagement in 2024, with the mum-of-two having taken a break from duties over the festive period.
She looked glamorous in a green wool blazer complete with a tie belt, paired with a cream roll neck jumper and matching maxi skirt.
The Royal carried a dark brown envelope bag and accessorised with small gold hoop earrings. During her time at the Katherine Low Settlement, Sophie took part in a series of activities and was also presented with a bunch of colourful flowers. She was photographed participating in a 'Love to Learn' mentoring session with children at the charity, which saw her read to the kids.
