Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown appears to be being rivalled as the soap's 'Weatherfield Barbie' after the cast headed out for their recent summer bash.
The ITV soap's stars were out in force earlier this week as they headed to popular celebrity haunt The Ivy in Spinningfield for the mid-year celebrations. Channique, who joined the show last year as Dee-Dee Bailey, was among the stars hitting-up the swanky restaurant alongside Corrie's latest newest recruits.
Claire Sweeney, who made her debut as Cassie Plummer earlier this month, and Stephanie Davis, who is set to appear on-screen in the soap for the first time next week as Courtney Vance, joined their new colleagues as they let their hair down at the popular venue.

Taking to Instagram after the celebrations, Channiqe could be seen posing in a series of snaps. The soap star looked stunning in a hot pink dress that appeared to be made of crinkled material and boasted thrills and a thigh-high split,
She paired the summery look with white heels and a matching white bag before accessorisng with a delcate chain and some drop earrings while her hair was kept natural and down in gorgeous curls. "THIS Barbie just spent 10 hours on set with only 4 hours sleep," she captioned the post the morning after the night before.
Co-star Paddy Bever, who plays Max Turner in the ITV soap, was among the first to respond, writing: "Weatherfield’s Barbie," alongside a love heart eyes emoji. Sarah Barlow actress Tina O'Brien commentd: "Stunning," with a glame emoji, before adding: "Well done getting through today [crying laughing emoji].
