The 42 year old actress, who plays Abi Franklin in the popular ITV show, flaunted the impressive design of flowers, birds and leaves on her forearm at the event at the Ivy Restaurant in Manchester this week. Sally, who is also known for playing Kelly Maguire in Channel 4 comedy Shameless, has given fans glimpses of the sleeve tattoo on social media before but it is rare for her to show it off publicly.
She stepped out for the occasion wearing a summery, white maxi dress with a pair of pink strappy heels and rose-tinted sunglasses. Sally was joined at the swanky party by co-stars including Tina O'Brien, Stephanie Davis, Claire Sweeney, Jodie Prenger, Sally Dynevor and Georgia Taylor. Tina, who plays Sarah Platt in the soap, looked stunning in a black and white patterned mini dress with beige high heels.
Her hair was styled in a neat bun and she added a pop of colour to her outfit with a pink handbag. Stephanie, who plays Courtney Vance, opted for a more summer look in a green leaf-print maxi dress. Jodie, who plays Glenda Shuttleworth, looked gorgeous in a colourful blue, orange and white low-cut dress and a full face of glam makeup.
In April this year, Sally delighted fans by returning to social media after taking a break from it. On her return, she revealed she gad given up Instagram and other platforms for Lent. She wrote: “Anyway, I’m back now and have already watched a toilet roll sprout fungi - Instagram, I’ve missed you.” Fans were quick to respond to Sally’s return with their well wishes.
