Former Coronation Street star's one-word response to Nathan Curtis' return after fans 'spot her' in comeback scene

One of Coronation Street's former stars has shared her response to the return of Nathan Curtis after someone thought they spotted her back in the ITV soap. Longtime viewers of the show will know Nathan for grooming Bethany Platt as part of a sex trafficking scheme before being imprisoned in 2017.
It has, however, been just over six years since he appeared on the soap, in a vision experienced by Bethany. But during Wednesday night's (May 8) trip to Weatherfield, Bethany was left trying to prove that her eyes weren't deceiving her as her former visions turned into a reality when she became the first to spot Nathan as a free man.
Bethany spotted Nathan working as a builder during a reconstruction of missing Lauren Bolton's last movements. She was seen alongside the likes of Max Turner and Bobby Crawford watching an actress reenact the teen's last movements following her disappearance - and possible murder - back in February.

But Bethany was left stunned to see Nathan among the crowd. While her partner Daniel Osbourne assured her that Nathan is in prison and it was her mind playing tricks but Bethany was still on edge. So when Nicky Wheatley called round and revealed that she was off to meet a girl called Ellie who was groomed as a teenager and might have information about Lauren, Bethany followed.
She ended up disrupting Nicky's chat with the vulnerable woman, mentioning Nathan and that she knew what she was going through. Ellie ran away and Nicky was furious that she jeopardised her position of helping sex workers but Bethany was still convinced
