Boy racer who killed pregnant mum Frankie Jules-Hough in BMW horror smash on M66 gets three more years

Senior judges have quashed an 'unduly lenient' 12-year jail sentence handed to dangerous driver who killed a pregnant mother on the M66. Frankie Jules-Hough, 38, from Chadderton, Oldham, died in a crash in Bury in May after Adil Iqbal, 22, lost control of his father's BMW M140i.
Iqbal had filmed himself reaching speeds of 123mph in the vehicle before it crashed into Ms Jules-Hough's Skoda Fabia, which had pulled over on the hard shoulder with a tyre puncture. She was 17-weeks pregnant. Neither mum nor unborn child survived. Frankie and her partner planned to name their daughter Neeve.
Frankie's son Tommy, aged nine; and nephew Tobias, aged four, were passengers in her car - all wearing seatbelts - suffered serious injuries. Frankie's two-year-old Rocky, who was strapped into a child seat, miraculously unharmed.

In July, Iqbal was jailed for 12 years by Judge Maurice Greene after he pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving; and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court.
Today (Friday, October 13) three senior judges sitting at the Court of Appeal in London quashed the sentence after the Attorney General has asked them re-consider the 'unduly lenient' sentence.
Lord Justice Bean said: "In our collective experience this is the worst case of bad driving any of us can recall."
