Emmerdale fans have decided they 'know' who killed Craig Reed - and it's not one of the Dingles. A major new 'whodunnit' kicked off in the Dales on Monday night (October 30) after Craig's lifeless body was seen sprawled out in a field at the end of last week.
The first trip to the fictional Yorkshire village of the week saw Lydia Dingle gathering her family for a lock-in in The Woolpack with only one question on the cards - what happened to Craig. As fans of the ITV soap know, the newcomer was a childhood acquaintance of Lydia who unexpectedly came back into her life earlier this year.
After their initial reunion, the pair were later seen bonding after Lydia told Craig she had given birth to their stillborn baby when they were in a teenage relationship while living in the same children's home. But things took an awkward turn when Craig appeared to want to make a move on Lydia.

As a result, she tried to tell Craig that she was with Sam and that she wasn't interested in him. But in shocking scenes, he forced himself on Lydia and has since denied raping her and saying no one would believe her if she spoke out. She has since spoken out but Craig has denied her claims and threatened legal action if she continues to make the accusations - despite them being true.
During Monday's episode of Emmerdale, Lydia was seen confronting Craig once and for all after her husband Sam and his brother Cain had him tied up in a remote barn. The flashback saw Lydia telling the pair to let him go, however, in the Woolpack, she was seen informing the Dingle clan Billy
