Emmerdale fans think they know who will end up helping Lydia Dingle bring Craig Reed down after he denied raping her during a confrontation at his office. Viewers have been left heartbroken for Lydia after she hid what had happened to her at the hands of her childhood acquaintance.
Craig came back into Lydia's life after bumping into him at a jobs fair at the Hide and the pair were later seen bonding after Lydia told Craig she had given birth to their stillborn baby when they were in a teenage relationship while living in the same children's home. He also offered her a job as a cleaner at his office as she tried to make more money to give to Amelia Spencer for their granddaughter Esther before also offering stepson Samson work experience.
However, after an awkward moment between the pair following a visit to the place she buried her baby son, Lydia tried to tell Craig that she was with Sam and that she wasn't interested in him. But in shocking scenes, he forced himself on Lydia.

She then struggled to share what happened to her with her loved ones, burning the clothes she was wearing during the attack and leaving the police station before she shared the full extent of the sexual assault. And this was made worse by Craig who told her nobody would believe her rape claims when she confronted him.
But fans of the ITV soap have since seen Lydia confide in Kim Tata and after being accused by some of the Dingle's of having an affair, she sat her husband Sam Dingle down, along with Belle and Mandy, and told them what really happened.
Angry and upset, Sam
