BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola says 'happy to finally share' as he makes move away from ballroom

Vito Coppola has left his fans delighted as he revealed they'll be getting an extra dose of him on their TV screens this year. It was confirmed earlier this month that the dancer will be returning to Strictly Come Dancing this autumn.
Vito was among the professional dancers confirmed in the BBC's line-up for the 2024 series, which also celebrates the show's 20th birthday. In its first big announcement of the year on, it was confirmed that Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return as hosts and the judges' desks will see the return of Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel-Horwood and Anton Du Beke.
Meanwhile, the dancers who will return include 2023 winner Vito, who lifted the Glitterball trophy for the first time with actress Ellie Leach and Amy Dowden, who had missed competing on Strictly last year after she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.

Other dancers who will return for the new series later this year include Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley and Michelle Tsiakkas.
But away from being in the ballroom, fans of Vito are also set to see him in the kitchen as he's also confirmed he's in the line-up for Celebrity MasterChef 2024.
