BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Leach defended as she beams alongside Bobby Brazier amid romance rumours

Ellie Leach has been defended by fans after she was seen beaming alongside Bobby Brazier after he came to support her in her new venture. The Strictly Come Dancing winner was fresh from the show's 2024 live tour when she was back on the road making her stage debut.
The actress, who shot to fame playing Faye Windass in Coronation Street, is now appearing in Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter. She was drafted in at the eleventh hour to play Miss Scarlett in place of Helen Flanagan after she was 'advised to withdraw due to medical reasons'.
The five-month UK tour marks the world premiere of Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter and it all kicked off at the Richmond Theatre last Thursday night (February 29). The play will then continue to visit theatres across the UK until July - also including a week-long run on home turf for Ellie at The Lowry Theatre in Salford.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Ellie shared a string of pictures taken recently as she started her new job following her massive success on the dancefloor last year where she lifted Strictly's coveted Glitterball trophy with professional dancer Vito Coppola.
The images kicked off by showing Ellie all smiles as she clutched onto a bouquet of flowers while surrounded by her luggage as she headed home for a breather from playing Miss Scarlett. The 22-year-old also shared backstage selfies with her co-stars, a glimpse at her dressing room and the previously mentioned selfie with Bobby.
