Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez has said he 'misses' Helen Skelton as she acknowledged him when talking about a difficult part of her latest career step. The Countryfile host was reminiscing over her own time in the BBC One dance contest with the Spanish dancer over the weekend.
It appears Helen, who made it to the final of the competition last year, has been keeping up with this year's series and decided to take to Instagram with a picture of herself and Gorka taken of them both when either before or after they performed their now-iconic couple's choice routine to Mein Herr from Cabaret.
She also shared a picture of the 2022 Strictly cast and said in the caption: "Good times … loving this years strictly ….. congratulations all and thanks for bringing so much joy to my living room!! Living vicariously through the contestants and obviously reminiscing about good times with good people..."

Resharing the post to his own Instagram Story, Gorka wrote: "Miss u friend," alongside a blue love heart. Helen also shared the post and said: "Reminicing. @gorka_marquez How long is too long to dine out on the fun/run we had xx."
Fans were then quick to respond to the post. @loumafred said: "Helen and Gorka- my fave strictly pair ever. And Mein Herr 100% the best dance." @gus_and_chloe wrote: "Hands down THE best Strictly dance. EVER."
