EastEnders fans were delivered yet another twist in The Six’s murder plot on Tuesday’s (20 February) visit to Albert Square, as Denise Fox sought out advice from serial killer Lucas Johnson to help try and cope with the guilt of having been complicit to Keanu Taylor’s death. As regular viewers will know, Keanu was fatally stabbed to death on Christmas Day by Linda Carter as she tried to defend her friend Sharon Watts from being strangled to death by the irate mechanic.
Unable to protect Sharon, Linda stabbed Keanu with a meat thermometer to stop the attack, with Keanu sadly succumbing to his injuries in the pub. Horrified by what she’d done, Linda, along with the rest of The Six that were present decided that rather than reporting the crime, they would cover it up and proceeded to dispose of Keanu’s body by burying it beneath Kathy’s cafe.
The group then created a cover story in which Keanu had fled town.
But in the wake of the harrowing incident, Denise in particular has been struggling with her guilt over the role she played in the attack and has begun to suffer from hallucinations of Keanu as her mental health deteriorates into psychosis. Unable to cope any longer, Denise sought help from the only person she felt she could turn to, her former serial killer husband Lucas Johnson! Seeking him out in prison for some kind of advice, Denise tried to make sense of the situation, with Lucas himself urging Denise to come clean about her crime if she wanted to silence her demons.
In a shocking turn of events, Denise then seemingly confessed all to Lucas - something that fans are terrified could now prove to be the downfall of The Six and usher in a permanent return for the killer. Taking to social media to share their thoughts,
