It's been two months since EastEnders fans watched Keanu Taylor meet his untimely death at the hands of Linda Carter on the soap - but Danny Walters is already back as the Albert Square in tonight's episode.
The actor reprises his role as Keanu in a series of silent cameos as EastEnders celebrates its 39th birthday. Tonight's (Monday 19th February) episode of EastEnders sees Denise Fox, played by Diane Parish, continue to unravel as the guilt over Keanu's death and the Six's cover-up get to her. She starts suffering hallucinations of Keanu on the stairs of her house and in her living room - and believes they are real.
Stacey (Lacey Turner) visits Denise to voice Amy's concerns about her behaviour and while Denise initially brushes her off, she begins to open up about what she's seeing and hearing. When Stacey recognises that Denise is experiencing symptoms of psychosis, she urges Denise to visit a doctor. Elsewhere in the episode, which marks EastEnders' 39th birthday, Johnny reels after learning that Linda was responsible for Keanu's death and how she covered it up with Sharon, Denise, Suki, Stacey and Kathy.
He tries to convince Linda to get sober, while George struggles to cope after his conversation with mum Gloria. Tonight's episode marks Danny's first on-screen appearance on EastEnders since his exit from the soap on Christmas Day, when he was revealed as the victim of the Six's murder, which had been teased throughout the year. Since Keanu was killed off, Danny has opened up about leaving EastEnders and what he took from the set.
