Viewers who were looking forward to tuning into This Morning on Monday (July 24) will have been left disappointed as the ITV show has been taken off-air. The flagship show normally airs every Monday to Friday from 10am until 12:30pm with the likes of Holly Willoughby, Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond hosting.
The morning chat show, which has been running since 1988, features segments focusing on everything from showbiz and fashion to news and health. But those switching to ITV at 10am today at the hopes of hearing the latest news and gossip will instead see the FIFA Women's World Cup airing in its replacement.
This is because for the next few weeks ITV's normal daytime schedule will be switched up to make way for the women's football tournament. After both the BBC and ITV bagged a joint rights deal, all 64 matches will be broadcast live from Australia and New Zealand on each channel over the summer.
