Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary have officially bid 'goodbye' to This Morning - but only for a short while. Their last week of shows have been heavily disrupted by ITV's coverage of the Fifa Women's World Cup and despite their last of the summer being cut by an hour, they still enjoyed a jam-packed show.
During Friday's edition of the ITV daytime programme (July 28), Alison and Dermot were joined by Phil Vickery who whipped up his one-pan Full English Breakfast before Helen McGinn’s gave her expert advice on the perfect tipple to enjoy with our Friday night fast food.
There were also some tips for viewers from the 'bra professor' and in an important conversation about skin cancer as neonatal nurse Charlotte Oliver appeared on the show, with Dr SaraKayat, with a stark warning for those of us who are planning on sun worshipping on the beach, after she got third-degree sunburn in Tenerife just three weeks ago.

At the start of the show, Dermot was clearly happy with the content of the last show of the week as The former X Factor star joked: "Is it my birthday today?"
Alison replied: "And you're finishing early! It is your birthday, I did all this just for you Dermot O'Leary because it's our last day together, isn't it, then we've got our summer off. I'm excited!" To which Dermot added: "Our summer break! Thank you, this is like a dream show for me!"
And their hour-long stint in front of the camera soon came to an end and just like that, Alison and Dermot were off on their own break from the show. But fans need not worry as their replacement have already been revealed.
