Josie Gibson was left comforting an angry and upset Craig Doyle as he returned to This Morning with bad news. The duo were back fronting the ITV daytime show on Monday (July 31) as they kickstarted their summer stint at the helm following on from Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
It was revealed last week that the pair would be taking over the reins of the popular programme as Holly Willoughby continues her eight-week-long summer break away from the small screen.
While she made a quiet exit until her planned return in September, Alison shared a video of herself and Dermot performing an in-sync dance routine, to Krishan Singh's Never Too Much remix, backstage in the This Morning dressing rooms, with the clip ending in a big hug between the pair as they rounded off their hosting duties for the summer.

Visiting the studio was none other than Italian icon Andrea Bocelli's son Matteo to promote his brand-new single Chasing Stars, but it wasn't just his vocal skills that got the ladies going. "Some people have got it all haven’t they?" quipped the blonde host, before ex-The Saturdays band member Rochelle, 34, pointed out: "He was blessed with the beautiful stick wasn’t he?
