Good Morning Britain and Lorraine have both been taken off-air today (July 24) as part of a schedule shake-up. Viewers who usually tune into ITV every weekday are used to seeing the flagship shows run alongside one another, delivering the latest headlines and showbiz gossip.
GMB, which is regularly hosted by Susanna Reid, Richard Madeley, Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, normally airs from 6am to 9am every Monday to Friday, with talk show Lorraine, hosted by Lorraine Kelly or relief presenters Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh in her absence, following on from 9am to 10am.
But as part of a switch-up this week, the broadcaster has taken both programmes off-air completely to make way for the FIFA Women's World Cup. ITV is showing live coverage of the women's football matches over the next few weeks as the tournament gets underway in Australia and New Zealand

After both the BBC and ITV clinched a joint rights deal, all 64 matches will be broadcast live on terrestrial TV this summer with England’s three group-stage kick-offs all airing begin between 9:30am and 12pm in the UK. This means that the usual daytime schedule on both ITV and BBC will be disrupted as the matches take priority.
Instead of Good Morning Britain airing at 6am today, viewers will instead see a repeat episode of Gino's Italian Family Adventure in its place. This will then be followed by live coverage of Italy v Argentina airing from 6:30am until 9:05am.
The women's football will then continue instead of Lorraine, with the Germany V Morocco match kicking off from 9:05am until 11:35am.
