As Holly Willoughby prepares to return to our screens next month after an extended Summer break, fans at home have been excitedly awaiting the news about which co-host would be joining her on the This Morning sofa. It has now been revealed that during Holly’s return to the show on Monday September 4, she will be joined by close pal Alison Hammond, who has been holding down the fort with Josie Gibson and Dermot O’Leary while Holly enjoyed her time off.

Alison Hammond was left 'devastated' after her This Morning co-host Dermot O'Leary snubbed a personal present she had bought for him. During Friday's show, which saw the pair co-host while Holly Willoughby is away on holiday, Alison revealed that she had bought Dermot a build a bear which contained a bit of a twist. It was revealed that the bear had Alison's laugh loaded onto it so that it would make that noise if squeezed, but the gift did not go down quite so well.

This Morning fans were all for the 'girl power' as Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson took over the show. It's been a long time since viewers of the ITV daytime show have seen the two women together at the helm.

Pop icon Beyoncé paid last night (August 6) for her fans to be able to get home after bad weather caused delays to her performance. During her stop in Washington D.C., the 41 year old was delayed from going on stage at the FedExField for two hours as there was a shelter in place order given due to the weather. However, she came to the rescue for fans who would be travelling home via trains as she paid a whopping $100,000 for the services to continue running for an extra hour.
