Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary taking break from This Morning as they give update

Holly Willoughby has enjoyed years at the top of the National Television Awards food chain alongside her former co-host Philip Schofield - but the pair have both been snubbed in a 2023 twist. Famed in previous years for being daytime show This Morning's golden couple and making it to the Best TV Presenter category numerous times, the former duo have been replaced by fan favourite Alison Hammond, who is representing the ITV show this year.The fall from grace comes as Holly, 42, has been left flying solo after Phil's departure from ITV, following a bout of scandal and feud rumours between the pair.

This Morning has been nominated for best daytime show at the National Television Awards 2023 despite the furore over the Phillip Schofield affair. Phillip, 61, resigned from ITV and was dropped by his talent agency YMU in May after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague on the show.

This Morning fans told Rochelle Humes and Josie Gibson to 'calm down' after they were left feeling 'giddy' over a guest on the show. Monday's edition of the ITV daytime show saw the former The Saturdays singer and Big Brother winner reunited to front the programme.
