Strictly Come Dancing will be returning to the small screen this weekend and will feature a new wave of familiar faces learning to dance. The popular BBC One dance contest is back with its launch show on Saturday, September 16.
And among those to have signed up for the 2023 run of the hit show is British-Congolese comedian, presenter, and actor Eddie Kadi.
He made a name for himself in the comedy sphere with his stand-up acts which has seen him feature on a variety of shows on TV, radio, and podcasts. He was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but moved to the UK at the age of eight.

Some of his key appearances on TV include Sorry I Didn't Know, Anuvahood, Gone Too Far!, and It's a Lot. He will also feature in the upcoming Sumotherhood alongside Ed Sheeran and Jennifer Saunders.
He also holds the title of the first black comedian to headline the O2 arena in London while his other achievements include being an award-winning presenter and stand-up comedian while performing for crowds all over the world. The 40-year-old also hosted awards shows such as the MOBO Awards, BET International, and BET Africa.
In the UK, he has become a familiar voice for Radio 1Xtra's The Official Afrobeats Chart Show and has done voice work for the children's TV series Tinga Tinga Tales.
