As another exciting time in the dales got underway this week, many fans at home were surprised to see a familiar face among the cast, when former Coronation Street star Kyle Rowe swapped the cobbles for a brand new role in Emmerdale.The talented actor will be best known to fans for his role as Ethan Corinn in Corrie, a young man who met up for drinks with David Platt’s rapist Josh Tucker in 2018. Keen to make sure nobody suffered at Josh’s hands again, vicar Billy Mayhew warned Ethan that Josh had attacked someone previously after drugging them - a move which eventually saw Ethan beat Josh to within an inch of his life, after discovering he had GHB in his pocket on their date.
Although his part was only small, Kyle still left a big impression on fans at home, with many surprised to see him return to our screens in rival soap Emmerdale earlier this week.This time around, Kyle is playing the role of Corey Sanderson, an old school friend of Nate Robinson who is hoping to go into business with Cain Dingle - but may not be quite as squeaky clean as he appears.Thankfully, Kyle’s life away from his dodgy on-screen alter-ego is far less eventful. Early life Born and raised in Manchester, Kyle discovered his love of performing at an early age and set his heart on becoming a professional actor to chase his dream.
