Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has revealed she was actually on the soap before - but viewers may have missed her. The actress has been back on screens for the past few weeks after reprising the role of Lauren Bolton last month after a short stint on the cobbles which started in November last year.
Fans of the ITV soap knew the character for being Max Turner's love interest as he was groomed by her dad's gang, led by Griff Reynolds. Lauren Lauren left the cobbles after the gang was caught after planting a bomb in the middle of the street but she has since returned to Weatherfield and has gained the support of Max.
But during her initial comeback she seemingly had an ulterior motive when her dad, Reece, got in touch and asked Max to visit him in prison. He then asked the teen to give a false statement to the police in a bid to reduce his sentence, something Lauren supported.

But next week, things take a turn when she shocks Roy with an offer. After her shift, Lauren tells Max Turner about her successful day in the café and Max is genuinely pleased for her but when Lauren misreads the signal and tries to kiss him he pulls away. Embarrassed, she storms out of the house and heads to the cafe where she tells Roy she has made a fool of herself and wants to resign.
Being his usual concerned self, Roy offers her food and a bed for the night before
