Urgent food recalls have been issued to Aldi customers and shoppers of the brand Moonshine's Products.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has warned 15 items from Moonshine's Products are "unsafe to eat" and could potentially cause serious illness or death if consumed. The recalled include bolognese, chilli, curry and sauces.
Aldi's Ready Set Cook Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry could also pose a health risk to anyone with coeliac disease or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten. The product includes wheat content not mentioned on the label.
Moonshine's Products recalls are a result of unsafe production procedures, according to the FSA. Among the issues are potential food safety risks from temperature control breaches and microbiological contamination risks.
Anyone who has bought recalled Moonshine's Products are urged not to eat them. Instead, the FSA advises customers to take a photograph of the product and email Moonshine's Products Ltd at [email protected] for a refund and handle the bottles with care to safely dispose of the products at home.
Aldi customers can also receive a full refund when returning the stir fry to stores.

Now its popularity has spread beyond Japan to much of East Asia and beyond, while metamorphozing into a film, TV and online genre with millions of fans. Just how big BL has become was evident in a Wednesday TIFFCOM seminar on the BL phenomenon in Thailand: Beyond Borders: Exploring the Global Appeal and Diversity of Thailand’s Boys’ Love Contents. The eleven speakers, including an official from the Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy in Japan, vigorously pitched partnerships with Japanese content companies, which seemed to be a classic case of selling ice to Alaska’s indigenous inhabitants. Members of the packed seminar room might beg to differ, however.
