An urgent search has been launched for a missing Scots man who failed to return to an outdoor centre in Aviemore.
Austin De Souza was last seen in Badiguish, near the Highland town, at around 4pm on Thursday, October 12, after going on a trip.
The 19-year-old, from Aberdeen, failed to return to the centre and was reported missing to Police Scotland.
He is believed to be wearing a black baseball cap, a blue raincoat and tracksuit trousers. Extensive enquiries are currently ongoing to trace him and the police dog unit is assisting in the search.
Officers from the nation-wide force are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
Sergeant Dale Hansen said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Austin and everyone wants to know he is safe and well.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3082 of 12 October, 2023.
