Thousands of protesters flooded the square outside the BBC's MediaCityUK headquarters to protest against the corporation's coverage of events in Gaza. Demonstrators chanted and held aloft Palestinian flags on Saturday (October 21).
Speeches were made before protesters marched through the Salford Quays complex. Speakers from the Manchester Palestine Solidarity Campaign led proceedings outside the BBC's Quayside House.

Protests have been held across the UK, with the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) saying it expected 200,000 people to join what it claimed would be be the 'biggest march for Palestinian rights in British history'.
