A man has appeared in court in connection with the death of Piotr Ludwiczak in Bury.
Brook Marshall-Byrne, 19, appeared at Manchester Crown Court this morning (August 15). He is charged with an offence of manslaughter and an offence of affray.
Mr Ludwiczak, 35, died in hospital following an incident on Silver Street in the town centre on July 8.

No pleas were entered during today’s hearing.
During the hearing administrative matters were discussed, and a further case management hearing was set for November 21.
A trial date was also set for May 20 2024.
Mr Marshall-Byrne, of Prestwich Hills, Prestwich was granted bail until the next hearing.
