A man from Ardwick has taken it upon himself to travel around the UK in a bid to help stop climate change and make cities and towns more clean and attractive.
Anthony Masheder, 29, goes out every few months to different cities with friends with their garbage bags, gloves, litter pickers and a world-changing attitude. The part-time bartender goes on solo runs around Ardwick and Gorton to help clean the area and create a positive impact in his community.
Anthony first decided to first start cleaning up communities after he was inspired by young climate activist, Greta Thunberg as well as his mother who was a massive climate change activist.

Anthony stated he has found some unusual items when cleaning - ranging from electronics to standard packets of rubbish.
"I don’t drive so if I go to other cities, I usually do a three-day visit where I can enjoy the city itself and spend a day cleaning, doesn’t happen often but I do what I can."
Anthony has been living in Ardwick for the past seven years after finishing a Marine Conservation degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.
He added: "I plan to help more sea life after I stay in Manchester for another few years. I am debating moving to Australia or Bali. Being there, I can help climate change in a different way, I’ve always had a love for the water and sea animals so beach clean-ups and saving the sea life would be a dream for me.
