‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Sets 2-Part Premiere for June and July, Unveils First Trailer (Video)

“The Covenant” and the long-delayed “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre,” the suddenly prolific British genre filmmaker has a new project set up by Black Bear International. The new film, with a title and plot under-wraps, is being prepped for buyers at Cannes and will mark a class reunion of sorts.

Black Bear International already has one buzzy film at the Cannes market this year with “Shell,” a thriller starring Elisabeth Moss, Kate Hudson, and Kaia Gerber. Now they also have likely the biggest-budget project for sale on the Croisette this year with a new Guy Ritchie actioner that has Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Eiza González attached to star.

EXCLUSIVE: Amid simmering unease over the impact of the writers’ strike, the upcoming Cannes market is getting a shot in the arm with the arrival of Guy Ritchie’s next project, a big-budget untitled action movie which will star Henry Cavill (Man Of Steel), Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Eiza González (Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw).

Sometimes the cultural re-evaluation of a film can go both ways: For as much as viewers can say “Yes, this movie is actually good” they can also say “We see now it’s incredibly problematic.” Such is the case with director Kevin Smith’s 1997 feature “Chasing Amy,” which tells the story of a straight man (played by Ben Affleck) falling in love with a lesbian (played by Joey Lauren Adams). Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic The Jonas Brothers have announced a 35-date tour of North America for this summer and fall, taking place mostly in arenas but also touching down in a few key stadiums, including Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Wrigley Field in Chicago and (as previously announced) Yankee Stadium in New York. The gambit for the tour is that the sibling trio will play five of their albums each night. Obviously, their releases have not all been hour-plus excursions, but it should still make for a lengthy set. This format plays off of and expands the conceit of the group’s recent run in a Broadway theater, in which each night focused on a different one of those five albums (albeit with copious amounts of extra material filling out those single-album shows as well).

While mystery still surrounds the identity of the next James Bond – or exactly how producers will get round the necessary change of narrative required after 007’s last outing – fans are now convinced they have uncovered which actor will be scooping up the licence to kill. 

If you’ve been paying attention to all the online chatter around Warner Bros.’ “The Flash,” you know there have been a lot of changes to the film, and it’s been an evolving movie as the DCEU has tried to evolve and figure itself out in the last two years. Netflix has released a brand new teaser trailer for “The Witcher” season 3.

The first teaser trailer for The Witcher season three is finally here, and Netflix also revealed the debut date for parts one and two!

Last year, fans of “The Witcher” series from Netflix were shocked to learn that the show’s lead Henry Cavill would be moving on and exiting the fantasy streaming project.
