We're only a few days from the start of Manchester Pride - one of the country’s biggest celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community. The annual Pride will take place over the August bank holiday weekend (August 25-28) and will feature plenty of fun, music, and events to keep you busy.
Some events, particularly within the Gay Village, will require an official Manchester Pride wristband but there are loads of other events and celebrations taking place across the city to coincide with the big festival. Plus, some of these events will be donating money to local LGBTQ+ charities and feature Pride-themed celebrations.
Below, you'll find a run-down of some of the very best Pride events taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend from drag shows and cabaret nights to retro discos and bottomless brunches. There’s plenty for you to enjoy, but make sure you book soon to avoid missing out.
