It's Pride weekend which means thousands upon thousands of spectators will descend on the city to take part in the iconic Pride Parade in celebration of the city's LGBTQ+ community.
Kicking off on Saturday, 26 August, this year's theme is 'Queerly Beloved', which organisers say wil be a 'celebration of love, community, self-expression, and the transformative power of dance'. Most of this year's festivities will take place at Gay Village with headline performances from the likes of Danny Beard, Conchita, Lady Bushra, Natasha Bedingfield, Gok Wan, Cheddar Gorgeous, and Jodie Harsh.

While many will remember last year's Pride being adorned by sunshine and clear skies, this year might not be as fortunate. The Met Office has forecasted showery conditions on Saturday and cloudy conditions on Sunday.
Saturday morning will kick off with light showers and a moderate temperature of 13C. While temperatures will rise generously to 16C, by the afternoon, heavy showers will expected by 4pm with conditions not expecting to settle until well into the evening - so be sure to bring an umbrella!
On Sunday, conditions will similarly be dreary, however, early forecasts don't predict as much rain as the previous day. Currently, light showers are only expected in the early afternoon at 1pm, following this, conditions will remain cloudy well into the evening with steady temperatures of 16C.
