“Steph was diagnosed with cancer just as we went into the first lockdown in 2020 and it was a very scary time,” Lisa, 38, told the M.E.N. “Steph had so much resilience and just did what she had to do. But just when she thought she was okay, she was diagnosed a second time just a year later and had to go through everything all over again.
“It was harder the second time because you think that you’re done but now she’s doing really well. She will be on treatment for a really long time but she’s much, much better.”
