Roy Cropper's suspected involvement in Lauren Bolton's disappearance - and possible murder - continues in Coronation Street next week leading to him making an unexpected move.

It's fair to say the police are busy in Coronation Street next week with PC Craig Tinker joined by DS Swain for their next big case since the escape and then death of serial killer Stephen Reid last year.
It all starts next week in Weatherfield when Bobby suggests to Sean Tully that he should think about renting Lauren Bolton's old flat following her disappearance. Evelyn Plummer has had to give the property back to the landlord after she discovered her subletting and Roy Cropper was seen helping his friend in a clean-up.
But when Sean says he saw what looked like blood on the curtains, Bobby and his aunt Carla Connor head straight for the police station and tell DS Swain about Sean's discovery. Later, DS Swain and Craig let themselves into Lauren’s flat and survey the extent of the blood stains.

Bobby tells them about her relationship with Roy, how he gave her a job, found her somewhere to live and cleaned up the mess in the flat after she left. So once finished at the flat, DS Swain calls at the café and questions Roy.
